KidSpree More than 35,000 visitors come to KidSpree, Colorado's largest free outdoor festival just for children. The award-winning, two-day event transforms a 29-acre park a giant play land for kids of all ages.
Fiesta Aurora The City of Aurora launched Fiesta Aurora in 2005 to celebrate the art and culture of Aurora's Latino community. The festival will return in September 2006 with more authentic music, dance, food and fun.
PumpkinFest If ya wanna see some folks who are truly out of their gourds, come to Jack-O-Launch, an annual ritual in Aurora where people use catapults and trebuchets to see how far they can huck a pumpkin. The competition will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and is part of Pumpkinfest, an annual fall festival that runs until 4 p.m. that includes live music, hay. rides, scarecrow making and much more.
Library, Recreation & Cultural Services Events The city's Library, Recreation & Cultural Services department offers other exciting events and cultural activities throughout the year, including Concerts in the Park, Fourth of July Spectacular and more.
Parks & Open Space Department Events The Parks & Open Space Department hosts numerous enjoyable events for the community, including the Aurora Reservoir Trout Tournament, Kid's Fishing Derby, Sand Creek Art and Photo Contest, triathlons, park grand openings, and others.
